Biography

Doctor Joseph Shehadi MD is well trained board certified neurosurgeon. What makes him unique is his strong caring and compassion nature. He has also done clinical research, published papers, and shared his knowledge over the years by teaching neurosurgical residents and Physician Assistants and medical students. Despite an ever changing world, he adheres to old word values. He spends time with his patients.

Breast Cancer spinal Metastases Paper 2007

Dr. Joseph Shehadi and his colleagues at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Johns Hopkins wrote this case series. This is a pathology specific  spinal metastases paper on a very large number of patients. It is often cited.

Review of commercially available demineralized bone matrix products for spinal fusions: A selection paradigm 2017

Dr. Shehadi and colleagues wrote this paper comparing numerous commercially available bone graft materials used in spinal fusions. This paper offers surgeons and hosptials a better, more organized and thoughtful way to thing about bone graft materials and what is best for the patient.
